Intro: A 12 fl oz bottle with a best by date of 7th May 2016 and poured into a Moonzen Teku glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear amber copper colour with a two finger off white head that retains pretty well, leaving nice streaky lacing.
Aroma: Grapefruit, pine, mandarin, apple, brown sugar and hints of pineapple and grassiness.
Taste: Bready and caramel malt sweetness heavy with bitter grapefruit pith and juicy grapefruit on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall: This was pretty good but perhaps a bit too malt heavy for my liking.
