Brewer Description: (from bottle) 1,2&3 year old lambic with Olasz Rizling grapes from Hungary. Skin maceration for several days. After this, the grapeslambic went back into a barrel for a year.

Intro: A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2022 vintage, bottled on 30th November 2023. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly to a ring around the glass, while leaving some nice lacing.
Aroma: Funky, dusty, grape skin, minerals, oak, and honey.
Taste: Sweet and tart, grape skin, honey, lemon zest, funk, wood, boozy tea.
Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice enjoyable complexity with good aromas and great flavours.

Bofkont Barbera (White Label)

Brewer Description: (from bottle) Blend of 1, 2, 3, years old lambic with Barbera grapes from Piëmonte in Italy. The blend is a collaboration with our friends from La Carlina Winery near Alba. This blend had a second fermentation in the bottle.

Intro: A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2021 vintage, bottled on 16th December 2022. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A deep reddish purple colour, with a one finger pink head, that had decent retention, while leaving sparse lacing.
Aroma: Tart, grape skin, red wine vinous, cherry, light funk, lemon zest.
Taste: Light sour, tart, red wine vinous, grape skin, cherry, with a slight hint of booze.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Very vinous with good enjoyable aroma and flavours. But perhaps one of the few beers I prefer less carbonation.

Bofkont Howling at the Moon

Brewer Description: (from bottle) 1,2 and 3 years old lambic with apricots from Ardeche in France, blended together with Riesling grapes (2020) from the Mosel in Germany and Italian muscat grapes (2021).

Intro: A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2022 vintage, bottled on 31st October 2022. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A hazy yellow orange colour with a one finger white head that had good retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Tart, apricots, wood, orange zest, muscat, musty, damp wood, funk.
Taste: Sour, tart, apricots, lemon, with light oaky notes.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Absolutely loved the aroma which I could just keep on smelling. The flavour on the other hand, was a bit too sour, which might have covered up a lot of the fruit and even the musty funky notes I was getting in the aroma.

Brewer Description: (from bottle) Blend of 1, 2 and 3 years old lambic with locally picked elderflower. The elderflower is a mix of 7 different varieties.

Intro: A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2022 vintage, bottled on 20th August 2022. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A mostly clear golden orange colour with a one finger white head that had good retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, grape gummy candy, floral, elderflower, grass, dry hay, with hints of dill.
Taste: Sour, tart, floral, elderflower, perfumy, lemon juice, with light notes of dill and pickle juice.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Enjoyed the aroma, but the perfumy notes in the flavour wasn’t really my thing, and it was a touch too acidic on the finish.

Intro: A 750ml corked and capped bottle, 2021 vintage, bottled on 14th September 2021. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, apricot, apricot skin, peach gummy candy, lemon zest, cucumber, hay, funk.
Taste: Sour, tart, apricot, peach gummy candy, lemon, lime zest, 7-Up, wood, with a touch of funk.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate spritzy carbonation.
Overall: Really enjoyable and easy to drink. Wonderful apricots throughout, and very balanced.
