Intro: A 12.7 fl. oz. bottle, 2016 vintage. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: A clear brownish colour with an orange tinge, and a one finger tanned head that dissipated fairly quickly to a thin layer, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, dark fruit, raisin, prunes, plum, fig, red grape, with a hint of wood, caramel and sherry.
Taste: A mix of Flanders Oud Bruin and Old Ale. Lightly tart, with lots of dried dark fruit, raisin, prunes, fig, plum, red grape, with a splash of oak, caramel and sherry.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Not your traditional Old Ale, but what appears to be some blend of Flanders Oud Bruin and Old Ale, lends itself to a nice enjoyable sipper.

Intro: A 1 pint 9.4 fl. oz. bottle, with surprisingly no vintage year printed on the label. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A clear dark brown amber colour with about a half finger off white head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Vinous red wine, fruity cherry, mixed berries with a light touch of balsamic vinegar and maybe oak.
Taste: Sour, tart, cherry, mixed berries, sharp acidic citrus zest, vinegar, light oak, with vinous wine notes at the end.
Mouthfeel: Dry, acidic, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A solid and enjoyable Oud Bruin with good aroma and flavours.

Intro: A 16.9 fl. oz. bottle, 2017 vintage. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very lightly hazy golden colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left only sparse spotty lacing.
Aroma: Light funk, brett, oak, lemon tartness and a touch of vanilla.
Taste: Sour, oak, vanilla, lemon, funk, brett, lemon juice and lime.
Mouthfeel: Dry, light to medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: A nice amount of oak, funk and brett, balanced with some light citrus.

Appearance: A purplish red colour with a one finger pinkish head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
Aroma: Blackberry, mixed berries, berry skin, oak, vanilla and funk.
Taste: Tart, lightly sour, blackberry, tangy mixed berries, vinegar and oak with some light vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice fruity Wild Ale, although I’d prefer it even more if the oak and vanilla flavours were a little lighter.

Intro: A 1 pint 9.4 fl. oz bottle, 2015 vintage, batch 2. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very slightly hazy golden colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly and left only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Funky, lightly tart, oak, vanilla and some light citrusy lemon.
Taste: Similar to the aroma, lightly tart, oak, vanilla, stone fruit, white wine along with some light citrus lemon and funk.
Mouthfeel: Dry, light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nicely balanced Farmhouse Ale with great oaky and vanilla flavours.
