Intro: A 500ml corked bottle, batch from 5th June 2017, poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lemon tea orange brown colour with no head and no lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, plum, apple, a touch vinous, with notes of vanilla, oak, and butterscotch.
Taste: Lightly sour and tart, plum, cherry, apple, vinous, with notes of honey, oak and a slow spicy burn.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with no carbonation “this beer is still”.
Overall: Admittedly probably aged longer than ideal, but still an enjoyable sipper with aroma and flavours that combine well.
