Intro: A 12 fl. oz. can, canned on 15th May 2018. Poured into an Epic Brewing pint glass.
Appearance: A clear dark brown colour with a slight red hue and a slightly more than one finger foamy tanned head that dissipated fairly quickly to a lasting thin cap while leaving some sparse lacing.
Aroma: Strong cinnamon and raisin followed by caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, cream with light biscuit and toasted oats.
Taste: Cinnamon, raisin, chocolate, brown sugar, cream, vanilla with some light caramel and toasted bread.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: Cinnamon was a bit too strong for me and body was probably on the light side, but raisins and chocolate still is a good combination.

Taste: Roasted coffee, coffee grounds followed by some nuttyness with a hint of milk and vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall: A very good brown ale with nice coffee flavours. Very easy to drink especially if you like coffee.

My rating: 3
My beeradvocate.com rating: 3.85
My ratebeer.com rating: 3.8

Intro: A 12oz bottle that was bottled on 22 January 2015 and poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: It poured a dark brownish red colour with a slightly less than one finger creamy brown head that dissipates in less than a minute leaving stringy lacing.
Aroma: Sweet toasted bready malts, caramel and some dark fruits mainly plum and grape.
Taste: Mainly sweet caramel mixed with some citrus hoppy flavours and a small amount of dark fruits. The aftertaste also gives a small blast of alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation.
Overall: It was quite a nice brown ale. Maybe a tad bit sweet, but I would probably consider buying this again if I craved for some brown ale. Having said that, this is quite honestly probably the only bottle that’s made it to Hong Kong.
