Intro: A 355ml bottle with a best before date of 20th January 2017, poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear copper amber colour with a two finger foamy off white head that had good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Strong herbal sage, pine, orange zest and blueberries with a touch of juniper berry.
Taste: Bitter, medicinal, sage and pine upfront with a juniper, wood and herbal finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I like cooking with sage and juniper berries, but it just doesn’t seem to work for me in the few beers I’ve had including this one.

Intro: A 355ml bottle with a best before date of 26th December 2016, poured into a Mikkeller pint glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear copper amber colour with a two finger fluffy and foamy off white head that had decent retention and left thick-ish lacing.
Aroma: Leafy, grassy, pine with sweet pear, a hint of citrus and a light floral element.
Taste: Sweet and malty. Pine, grass and pear with hints of grapefruit, caramel and tea.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate to light carbonation.
Overall: It’s quite nice. Not getting as much of the citrus that others seem to be getting (I will try another bottle), but the sweet-ish pear, pine, tea combo works quite nicely for me.

Intro: A 355ml bottle with a best before date of 5th October 2016 and poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear golden colour with some orange hue. There was a big three finger white head with good retention and nice lacing.
Aroma: Lemon, tea, sweet mandarin, bready and dish soap.
Taste: Lemon zest, citrus rind, bready, light caramel malt and floral sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This was not bad, but I couldn’t really get around the aromas here. The dish washing detergent I use has a lemony smell, which is fine for washing dishes, but not something I want to drink. So getting that smell on the finish just didn’t work for me.

Intro: A 12 fl oz bottle with a best by date of 12th May 2016. Poured into a Moonzen teku glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear copper colour with a two finger off white head that dissipated quickly but left nice sticky lacing.
Aroma: Sweet caramel and bready malts with some pineapple, apple, grapefruit and pine.
Taste: Mainly pine with light biscuit malt and light caramel. Citrus is there but fairly restrained. Finish is lightly bitter and spicy.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with mid to high prickly carbonation.
Overall: This was just ok for me. Everything was just quite light and the flavours felt lacking.
