Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 2nd May 2019, ‘B58 beerfest’. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy straw yellow colour with a slightly more than one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left pretty much no lacing.
Aroma: Grapefruit, citrus rind, passionfruit and mango with a hint of grass and pine.
Taste: Orange flesh, grapefruit rind, pine, light bitterness and a slight herbal taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: An easy drinking IPA, but I’m not getting much passionfruit, especially in the taste, which was fruity, but more citrus like.

Intro: A 16 fl. oz. can with no canned on or best before date. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy dark-ish golden orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated quickly and left only some lacing.
Aroma: Mango, peach candy, pineapple, mandarin, citrus rind and pith.
Taste: Sweet and lightly bitter. Pineapple, mandarin, orange rind and pith plus some alcohol lingering in the background, which was surprising.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and light booze.
Overall: Quite nice, although it would have been even better if the light booziness could have been hidden behind the fruit or something.

Brewski Mangofeber Session IPA

Brewery: Brewski
Country: Sweden
ABV: 3.5%
Style: American Session IPA
Other Notes: Session India Pale Ale. Only real fruit inside!

Brewer Description: (from bottle) It is said that your first born will always carry a special place in your heart. As our first beer ever, Mangofeber has conquered tastebuds male and female, old and young, national and foreign. While we admit to always evolving this beer, so here is a light session version for anyone that wants to enjoy all the flavours with a little less “buzz” and a real “folkis” as we would say in Sweden.

Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 28th May 2019, ‘B5 sexonajpa’. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very hazy dark straw yellow colour with a big three finger soapy white head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some sparse but sticky lacing.
Aroma: A bit light, but there’s juicy mango, mango peel, pine and grass with hints of hay, herbal and citrus peel.
Taste: Lightly bitter, bready malt, juicy mango, lime and pine.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Aroma was a bit light, and while taste was nice and juicy, the malt was a little stronger than I’d like.

Intro: A 1 pint .9 fl. oz. bottle, 2017 vintage. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: An extremely light straw golden colour with a big three finger white head that had decent retention while leaving only sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: Brett, barnyard funk, tropical stone fruit, peach, apricot with hints of lemon and hay.
Taste: Brett, funk, wheat, grapefruit rind, hay, grass and a touch of light peach.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice and refreshing Grisette, although I did find that the funk went better with the aroma than the taste.
