Intro: A 330ml can, with a best before date of 6th August 2020. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A slightly hazy reddish purple colour with a two finger pinkish head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, tart, vanilla, blackberry, milky, creamy.
Taste: Sweet, lightly tart, blackberry, vanilla, cream, mixed berries.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Any kind of berries and vanilla mixed together just works for me. Enjoyable and easy to drink.

Garage Project Super Fresh Vol.2

Other Notes: Malts – US Ale and Wheat Malt. Hops – Mosaic Cryo, Mosaic, El Dorado and Galaxy. Yeast – Wyeast 1318 London III

Brewer Description: (from can) It’s time to get super fresh. More hazy goodness, more malt mouthfeel, and more hops bursting with juicy tropical fruit, citrus and pine. All this packed into a guaranteed brewery fresh 440ml can. It’s so fresh it’s super fresh. Get your booties on the dance floor.

Intro: A 440ml can, with a best before date of 19th August 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy murky dark orange colour with a two finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, tropical mango, citrus pith and rind, orange, sweet mandarin, and a touch of pine.
Taste: Very citrus fruit forward, lightly bitter, orange zest and pith, sweet mandarin, with hints of mango.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: I’m usually not a big fan of Triple IPAs, but this was very enjoyable with a good balance between bitter and sweet on top of nice fruitiness and well hidden ABV.

Garage Project Turbo Fuzz

Brewer Description: (from can) Your fuzz box just got an upgrade. Turbo Fuzz, Triple Hazy IPA, amplified and distorted in an even bigger wall of haze and hop feedback. Galaxy, Nelson and Mosaic riffs punch through a warm fuzz of juicy malt and tropical fruit noise. Plug it in and play it loud. It’s fuzzy ugly dialled all the way up to 11. Now in long play 440ml cans. Brewed in collaboration with Sydney’s Rock God Pizza Tossers Frankies. Play it loud!

Intro: A 440ml can, with a best before date of 3rd July 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy golden orange colour with a nice two finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Juicy mix of citrus and tropical fruits, orange peel and rind, mango, and a splash of sweet mandarin.
Taste: Sweet malts, citrusy orange, grapefruit, citrus rind and peel, mango, boozy, with a lasting moderately bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, boozy, full bodied, with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Wonderful fruity aromas. Taste had a nice balance of citrus and tropical fruits but, although knowing it’s a Triple IPA, I still felt that it was a touch too boozy.

Carbon Brews The Baltic Proper

Other Notes: 38 IBUs. Malts – Pale, Munich T1, Special W, Caramunich T2, Black Patent and Carafa Special T3. Hops – Willamette and Hellertau. Yeast – 34/70

Intro: A 330ml can with a best before date of 30th April 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: Dark brown in colour with a two finger beige head that had good retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Roasty dark malt, chocolate, coffee, and caramel, with notes of dark fruit and nuttiness.
Taste: Roasty dark malt, toasty bitterness, dark chocolate, nutty, and coffee, with notes of sweet dark fruit.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Looks great with good dark chocolate bitter flavours. I was hoping for stronger dark fruit, but still, it was enjoyable.

Alvinne Cuvée Sofie Sleedoorn-Sloeberries

Intro: A 330ml bottle, with a best before date of May 2023. Poured into an Alvinne teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy murky rusty dark orange brown colour with a one finger white head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Tart, sour fruit, berry skin, blackberries, oak, with hints of funk and acetone.
Taste: Sour, tart, dark berry skin, mixed dark berries, plum, oak, a touch acidic, and hints of vinegar.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: I have no idea what sloeberries are supposed to smell or taste like, but this was enjoyable and great to drink.
