Brewer Description: (from bottle) At Beer Camp, no beer style is off limits, so we jumped at the idea of doing a Golden IPA using wheat malt for a light, dry body and bold American and experimental hops for intense citrus flavor. Intro: A 12 fl oz bottle with a packaged on date of 10th February 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden straw yellow colour with a two finger white head that had good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Bready, wheaty and pineapple with hints of sweet citrusy mandarin.
Taste: Candied pineapple, sweet candy lemon, lots of floralness with some light bitterness on the end.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, dry-ish, medium to light bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: Easy to drink but a bit too much floral characters for me to fully enjoy.

Other Notes: Blood Orange IPA. 55 IBUs. Malts – Extra Pale. Hops – Magnum, Citra, Simcoe and Amarillo

Brewer Description: (from website) A smack of citrus with hints of warm blood orange aromas brought on by refined malt bill and loads of juicy hops. All hail Bloody ‘Ell.

Intro: A 330ml can with a best before date of 17th July 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden yellow orange colour with a two finger white head that had pretty good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Mandarin and orange rind with hints of pine and grapefruit.
Taste: Sweetish and zesty orange and mandarin with a hint of honeydew and pine. Finish is lightly lasting bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Lightly crisp, medium to light bodied with moderate to light carbonation.
Overall: Nicely refreshing for a hot summer day and surprised that it’s 7.2% ABV as it definitely doesn’t feel that high. For me, I would have preferred slightly more carbonation and a stronger bitterness though.

Intro: A 330ml bottle, batch 599, with a best before date of 19th August 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy golden straw yellow colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left some lacing.
Aroma: Mango, pineapple, grapefruit, orange with a hint of pine.
Taste: Generally quite light and short, but there’s mango and peach followed by bitter grapefruit rind and mandarin rind.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: Aroma and taste were nice but was a bit disappointed that the taste was quite light and abrupt, especially when compared to top Stigbergets IPAs like GBG and Amazing Haze.

Intro: A 1 pint can with a best before date of xx January 2018 (xx appears to be 19, but its not so clear…). Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A clear copper orange colour with a two finger soapy white lacing that had good retention and left sticky lacing.
Aroma: Citrusy grapefruit, lemon and orange rind coupled with pine, light biscuit malt and fruit tea.
Taste: Sweet-ish biscuit malt, bitter grapefruit, orange rind, pine and light tea.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A decent drinkable IPA.

Brewer Description: (from can) Prepare to be tagged and bagged as this Full Metal Jacket of an IPA rains an apocalyptic, resinous hellfire of clustered hops and passionfruit aromas upon the senses. There’s nowhere to hide, so gear up, sound off, and blast “Ride of the Valkyries” at full volume, because, soldier, you’re at war. We love the taste of IPA in the morning.

Intro: A 375ml can with unfortunately no canned on or best before date. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku.
Appearance: A cloudy, lightly dark golden orange colour with a just under two finger white head that dissipated quickly while leaving only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Tropical mango, peach, passionfruit and some citrusy mandarin with hints of grass. Very juice like.
Taste: Citrusy orange, orange rind bitterness, grapefruit and juicy passionfruit.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice, juicy and easy to drink IPA. Aromas were especially good.
