Other Notes: Autumn-Winter 18. Aroma & Flavour – Zesty citrus fruit in both flavour and aroma, backed up by resinous hop notes. Body – Medium bodied and velvety with soft carbonation. Aftertaste – Lingering juicy fruit flavours. Dry hop intensity – 16 g/L

Brewer Description: (from can) Our all-season DDH Pale provides a balance between a juicy, full-bodied IPA and easy drinking Pale. ‘DDH’ means this Pale has been double dry hopped, using twice the amount of hops as our standard Pale. It delivers big citrus flavours and a smooth body, with a juicy tang and a peppery character on the finish.

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 23rd October 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very nice hazy orange colour with a two finger white head that had good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Slightly mild, but there’s mango, orange zest, lemon peel and dashes of pine.
Taste: Juicy, light mango and peach, followed by lots of citrus zing, orange, orange rind and lemon peel.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: A great Pale Ale that is just so easy to drink. Aroma was perhaps a bit light, but flavour was right up my alley with a good balance of tropical and citrus fruits.

Other Notes: Autumn-Winter 18. Aroma & Flavour – Mango pulp and passion fruit, combined with citrus and light onion notes. Body – Silky, full bodied and juicy with soft, pillowy carbonation. Aftertaste – Lasting, juicy citrus flavour, and noticeable peppery character

Brewer Description: (from can) Our all-season IPA is brewed in the New England style, combining bold hop flavours with a smooth, silky body and a semi-sweet, juicy finish that’s low in bitterness. It packs plenty of tropical fruit and citrus flavour, while retaining balance and drinkability.

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 19th October 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy pale orange colour with an almost two finger white head that had pretty good retention while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Mango, citrusy mandarin rind and peel, orange with hints of pineapple and onion.
Taste: Lightly sweet, juicy, mango, pineapple, mandarin rind and peel, orange juice, with an apricot and peppery finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Great easy drinking NEIPA with a nice balance of tropical and citrus fruit flavours.

Other Notes: Autumn-Winter. Specialising in modern, seasonal beer. Malts – Pilsner Malt and Carapils. Yeast – WLP833. Hops – Motueka, Mandarina Bavaria and Pilgrim Alpha CO2 Extract

Brewer Description: (from can) This Pilsner was fermented with WLP833, and features Motueka through delicate aroma hopping.

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 11th January 2018 and with a before date of end of July 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy golden straw colour with a two finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Light mango, lemon zest, citrus rind, straw, cereal grainy and lightly floral.
Taste: Lightly sweet, grainy, touch of mango with hints of mandarin peel, rind and floralness.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice, refreshing and easy to drink, despite the floral characters that I’m not fond of.

Other Notes: Autumn-Winter. Specialising in modern, seasonal beer. Malts – Barke Pils, Vienna, Caramel Pils and Caramel Hell. Yeast – WLP833. Hops – Mandarina Bavaria and Pilgrim Alpha CO2 Extract

Brewer Description: (from can) This Helles features Barke Pils malt for a smooth and traditional flavour. We used a light aroma addition of Mandarina Bavaria, and fermented with WLP833 for a delicate flavour profile.

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 19th January 2018 and with a best before date of end of June 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A clear golden colour with an almost three finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly, but left some nice sticky lacing.
Aroma: Biscuit crackery malt and grass with light citrusy mandarin peel, rind and grains.
Taste: Lightly sweet, cracker malt, biscuit, grass, grainy with a very light mandarin rind and floral touch.
Mouthfeel: Soft, smooth, light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I’m not fond of the floral flavours, but otherwise, it was clean and balanced.

Other Notes: Spring-Summer 2017. Specialising in modern, seasonal beer. Malts – Golden Promise, Wheat, Dextrin Malt and Carapils. Yeast – WLP001. Hops – Simcoe, Vic Secret, Chinook and Pilgrim Alpha CO2 Extract

Brewer Description: (from can) Our second mid strength Pale, double dry hopped with Simcoe, Vic Secret and Chinook. We increased the Carapils and Dextrin malt for a richer mouthfeel and fermented with WLP001 for a neutral yeast profile.

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 28th April 2017 and with a best before date of end of August 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A cloudy golden orange colour with a one finger white head that had decent retention and left some lacing.
Aroma: Mango and passionfruit with hints of peach, orange and grapefruit.
Taste: Tastes similar to the aroma with mango, peach, apricot, mandarin and orange with a nice finish of bitter zesty citrus rind.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice juicy Pale Ale that’s great to drink.
