Intro: A 22oz bomber with no clear bottled on or best before date. Poured into a snifter.
Appearance: Black in colour with a half finger brown head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some sparse spotty lacing.
Aroma: Sweet doughy doughnuts, banana bread, milk chocolate, coffee, caramel, brown sugar and marshmallow.
Taste: Sweet doughnut to start, followed by milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar and vanilla. There is only perhaps a very light dark chocolate bitterness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall: This was sweet, not too sweet as to put me off at the beginning, but definitely approaching my limit the more I drank with a whole bomber. Would definitely prefer it in a smaller 330ml bottle.

Intro: A 1 pint can, canned on 11th August 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very hazy dark orange colour with a one finger white head that had pretty good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Juicy orange peel, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple and cantaloupe.
Taste: Starts off nice with a good mix of citrus pith and tropical fruits, but the finish was quite boozy and overpowered all that nice juiciness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: The nice juiciness in the aroma and taste is there, but unfortunately the finish had a boozy feel that took over from all the nice juice.

Evil Twin x Omnipollo Old Fashioned Lemonade IPA

Brewery: Evil Twin Brewing x Omnipollo
Country: USA
ABV: 7%
Style: American IPA
Other Notes: India Pale Ale with lemon added. Brewed for Evil Twin Brewing by Dorchester Brewing Company

Brewer Description: (from can) A refreshing drink often associated with childhood nostalgia to others a pop-cultural symbol of emancipation. Whatever the association we teamed up with good old Swedes, Henok and Karl of the fashionable Omnipollo to squeeze out a tasty, tempting and deceivingly well balanced IPA with sweet and sour notes of old fashioned memories. Perhaps you can taste the dishonesty, it’s all over your breath – it’s Lemonade.

Evil Twin x 7venth Sun Citra Sunshine Slacker

Brewery: Evil Twin Brewing x 7venth Sun Brewery
Country: USA
ABV: 4.5%
Style: American IPA
Other Notes: Brewed at Two Roads Brewing Company.

Brewer Description: (from can) Despite his bitterness, lack of power and insuperable aversion to any kind of extravagant labor – he kind of has a charming charisma, and perhaps he is even loveable. Somehow we find him unbelievably irresistible and stimulating because he is one of the few that masters the ability to effortlessly impress with his sharp intelligence and make it look so damn easy.

Intro: A 1 pint can with a Julian bottled on date of 23915, meaning it was canned on 27th August 2015. It was poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: It poured a clear golden straw colour with a two finger white head with good retention that leaves sticky lacing.
Aroma: Strong tropical fruit aromas with ripe mango, guava, peach and apricot. Light citrus lemon in the background.
Taste: Flavours are not very strong. I get some mango and grapefruit, maybe some lemon. On the finish, the bready malt comes out. Its only lightly bitter.
Mouthfeel: Crisp, light bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall: A nice light juicy beer that is very drinkable. It could do with a bit more bitterness as an IPA, but still good.
