Brewer Description: (from can) Kupzzy the phoenix was born with unparalleled vision, which she used to lead her followers through rains and storms. But the sky is getting darker than ever as a dark force is bringing in unprecedented cyclones and thunder. The only clear path she sees leads her flock into a terrifying cluster of black holes.

Time is pressed and forward is the only way through if they don’t want to get wiped out by the storm. She takes the lead, and dives into the black hole, only with hope that there is a bright warm sun waiting for them at the other end.

In Time Hazy DIPA is a beer you should dive into right away. Intense aromas of limes, grapefruits, mangoes, and papaya with hints of coconuts. Hazy but smooth and juicy on the palate. Just like a glass of fresh squeezed juice, drink it fresh and drink it in time.

Intro: A 330ml can, canned on 25th August 2020, poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: A hazy orange colour with an almost two finger white head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Juicy, citrusy lime, orange rind, papaya and mango.
Taste: Juicy sweetness, mango, papaya, citrus rind, light bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, light to medium bodied, with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice tropical juiciness, but a little sweeter than I prefer. Still, it’s another good NEDIPA in an ever improving beer scene in Hong Kong.

Other Notes: 23 IBUs. Malts – Pilsner, Wheat, Oats, Carahell and Vienna. Hops – Mosaic, Cascade, Citra, Galaxy and Simcoe. Yeast – London Ale III. Drink – Fresh. Experience – Smooth, juicy, mango, papaya

Intro: A 330ml can, with a best before date of 8th January 2021, but should be less than a month in the can. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy mango orange colour with a one finger white head that had good retention and nice lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, papaya, melon, mango, and orange juice.
Taste: Lightly bitter, juicy, orange juice, papaya, mango, and mandarin zest.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice, enjoyable and juicy, the citrusy orange juice flavour stands out among the fruits.

Brewer Description: (from website) Juice experiments are well underway here to explore some of the new toys we have at our new South Street facility. We had two leading theories on how to best use one of our new toys, both rooted in solid science, preliminary results both looked good… but different. So we thought… lets try both! We brought back the South Street version of the familiar companion set Experimentum and Imperium (Latin for Experiment and Control). Both feature our DIPA sized 2-Row Fractal fermentation, fractal grain bill, and a hop bill of Citra, Mosaic, and Sabra. These beers are parallel in recipe but not process. The difference focuses on two distinct uses of an exclusive piece South Street equipment and Experimentum utilizes our coveted Energy treatment process #twovariables. Both beers have a candy-like-tiki-cocktail aroma. South Street Imperium has notes and flavors of assorted citrus, peach, and crushed Pez candy with dank and slightly resinous finish and punchy rollercoaster of #EQJuice. South Street Experimentum offers flavors of bright tropical fruit, deep navel orange characteristics with mango and papaya in a distinctly succulently soft body while and crossing the finish line with our EQJuice. With the same ingredients but two different processes, a showdown is underway. Which one do you prefer?

Appearance: A hazy orange colour with a two and a half finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Citrusy, lemon, lime, orange zest, with notes of melon.
Taste: Citrusy, orange, orange zest, melon, notes of papaya.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Not my favourite of fruit flavours, but still enjoyable. I preferred this Experimentum over Imperium.

Appearance: A hazy orange colour with a nice two finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of great lacing.
Aroma: Citrusy orange zest and pith, peach candy, guava, pineapple, with notes of melon.
Taste: Orange, orange juice, with notes of peach gummy candy, dankness, and onion.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Aroma was nice, but taste didn’t quite match for me. I preferred Experimentum just that slightly more.

Brewer Description: (from description on ratebeer) Eat the Dust! is a new round in our ‘haze craze and juicy race’. It’s a DDH all-Citra, and nothing but 20 g/l of pellets and 3 g/l of lupulin powder literally smuggled into Russia. You can’t get further into the hops after all that.

Intro: A 500ml can, canned on 14th October 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very hazy straw yellow colour with a three finger white head that had great retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Juicy, citrus, orange, lemon zest and pith, with a good smack of tropical pineapple and mango at the end.
Taste: Like the aroma, juicy, citrus, mandarin, orange peel, lemon zest and pith, light bitterness with tropical mango and pineapple on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This was enjoyable, better than Mosaic and Simcoe in my opinion although admittedly this is two or three weeks fresher. Good juicy citrus and tropical fruits in the aroma and taste.
