Intro: A 500ml can, canned on 27th September 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy straw yellow orange colour with a two finger white head that had moderately good retention but left only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Juicy, moderately sweet, citrus zest and pith, with a good splash of mango and tropical fruits.
Taste: Lightly bitter, citrusy orange zest and pith, slight dankness and onion, with notes of mango.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice and enjoyable, but if the tropical fruit was even more pronounced, it would have been even better.

AF Brew Eat The Dust! DDH Mosaic

Brewery: AF Brew
Country: Russia
ABV: 8%
Style: New England / Hazy Double IPA
Other Notes: Double IPA DDH Mosaic

Brewer Description: (from description on ratebeer) Eat the Dust! is a new round in our ‘haze craze and juicy race’. It’s a DDH all-Mosaic, and nothing but 20 g/l of pellets and 3 g/l of lupulin powder. You can’t get further into the hops after all that.

Intro: A 500ml can, canned on 12th September 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very hazy orange colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention and left some lacing.
Aroma: Juicy, orange zest and pith, mandarin, floral, a touch herbal and mango.
Taste: Citrus zest and pith, dank, floral, rose, blossoms, herbal, and hints of mango.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: It’s ok, but a bit too much floral and herbal notes and not enough tropical fruits for me.

Lervig Supersonic

Brewery: Lervig Aktiebryggeri
Country: Norway
ABV: 8.5%
Style: New England / Hazy Double IPA
Other Notes: 35 IBUs. Double dry-hopped IPA. Hops – Citra, Enigma, Amarillo and Simcoe

Brewer Description: (from Lervig website) We are loving our juicy IPA’s these days and apparently so are our customers. We wanted to go more than big, we went supersonic with a shit load of citra hops – we also included simcoe, amerillo and enigma – but the main hop is citra. We kept the malt bill simple to give great body but good drinkability at 8,5% alc. Wheat and oats to get the smooth juicy flavour and mouthfeel. This one
is all about the hops, it’s a super tropical hoppy explosion that breaks the hopwave. Think of it as mach 3 for hopped IPA’s!

Intro: A 500ml can, canned on 3rd September 2019 and with a best before date of 3rd June 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy orange colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Citrusy orange, dank, onion, pine, slightly doughy, with hints of tropical mango and papaya.
Taste: Moderately sweet, biscuit malt, dank, fruity, tropical, mango, papaya, melon, kiwi, citrus zest and pith, orange, lightly bitter and spicy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Good sweet and bitter balance but for a NEDIPA I’d prefer more tropical fruit and less malt and dankness.

Intro: A 330ml can, with a best before date of 19th September 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A murky dark orange brown colour with a half finger white head that dissipates fairly quickly and left only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Pavlova, strawberry, passionfruit and vanilla with hints of pineapple.
Taste: Juicy, slightly unripe strawberry, passionfruit, lemon, kiwi, vanilla, lacto sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Really great aroma of basically pavlova. Taste was very juicy and had a good balance of sweet and juicy. A great collaboration that I could keep drinking again and again.

Verdant Pulp!

Brewery: Verdant Brewing Co.
Country: England
ABV: 8%
Style: New England / Hazy Double IPA
Other Notes: Malts – Extra Pale Ale, Best Ale, Caragold, Wheat and Dextrose. Hops – Citra, Galaxy, Ekuanot and Columbus

Brewer Description: (from can) This Double IPA is bigger in every way but still retains a dry finish that hides its strength. Massive fruit aromas and flavours combined with hazy golden looks and chewy body really do make this beer a stone fruit pulp fest!

My ratebeer.com rating: 3.8

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 1st November 2018, and poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A cloudy hazy orange colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, tropical, mango, peach with light citrus rind and orange peel.
Taste: Mango, apricot, melon, orange peel and zest, grass, dank with a touch of booze on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Great aroma, and I think taste started off well enough, but the finish which was a bit grassy with a touch of booze just seemed to lose all the nice fruitiness that was there at the beginning.
