Intro: A 330ml can with a best before date of 22nd October 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A nice slightly hazy golden colour with a big three finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice sticky lacing.
Aroma: Lemon peel, lemon zest, lemon and a little soapy.
Taste: Sour, tart, lemon, lots of lemon, lemon everything, zest, pulp, peel, juice.
Mouthfeel: Acidic, light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Lemon is nice, but this was overly sour and acidic, that didn’t make it so easy to drink.

Omnipollo Flyktsoda

Brewery: Omnipollo
Country: Sweden
ABV: 7.1%
Style: American IPA
Other Notes: Brewed at Sigtuna Brygghus, Sweden

Brewer Description: Not much I can find in terms of official description.

My rating: 3
My beeradvocate.com rating: 3.53
My ratebeer.com rating: 3.4

Intro: A 330ml bottle, looks like it had a best before date on the bottle at one time, although now its definitely not legible. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: A very hazy darkish orange colour with a less than one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly, but left some curtain lacing.
Aroma: Pineapple, apricot juice, mango, orange pulp, pine and lime zest.
Taste: Moderate sweetness, lactose, pineapple, some hard to describe taste… I want to say creamed peach maybe, creamy vanilla, and lightly herbal.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Taste was a little unusual (but not terrible) to begin with, but I think it grew on me towards the end. It’s quite sweet (but perhaps not overly so) for an IPA, but is lacking a bit of bitterness to balance.

Omnipollo Aurora

Brewery: Omnipollo
Country: Sweden
ABV: 7.2%
Style: American IPA
Other Notes: Galaxy Mosaic Wheat IPA. Brewed by Omnipollo at De Proef Brouwerij, Belgium

Brewer Description: (from website) The wort of this beer looks radio active. Pale, wheaty and green tinted from a post boil hop burst. After a short and efficient fermentation we dry-hop it as many times as it takes and carbonate it softly. We love brewing beer, thinking about beer, dreaming about beer, talking about beer, breathing beer, changing beer, exchanging beer etc. Chill it perfectly and crush it deductively.

Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 14th February 2019. Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: A hazy straw yellow colour with a big three finger frothy white head that had good retention while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Melon, papaya, grapefruit, citrus rind and peel and pine.
Taste: Bitter, grapefruit rind and peel, light sweetness, maybe pineapple, pine and grass.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Quite nice, especially the aroma. But I didn’t get much wheat in the aroma nor in the taste.
