Intro: A 500ml can, with a best before date of 28th March 2019. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very nice looking cloudy ruby red colour with a two and a half finger pinkish head that had good retention and left lots of nice sticky lacing.
Aroma: Mixed berries, raspberry flavoured candy and berry jammy.
Taste: Tart, raspberry unset jello liquid, raspberry candy sweetness, jammy with a touch of sourness at the end.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. There is a tinge of alcohol on the back end.
Overall: Nice looking, nice aroma and good flavours. Not really much of an IPA though, and seems closer to a Fruit Beer.

Evil Twin x Omnipollo Rainbownade

Brewery: Evil Twin Brewing x Omnipollo
Country: USA
ABV: 7%
Style: American IPA
Other Notes: India Pale Ale with grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, raspberry and blueberry added. Brewed for Evil Twin Brewing by Dorchester Brewing Company

Brewer Description: (from can) A refreshing drink often associated with childhood nostalgia to others a pop-cultural symbol of female emancipation. Whatever the association we teamed up with two Swedes, Henok and Karl of Omnipollo to squeeze out a tasty, tempting and deceivingly well balanced IPA with sweet and sour notes of old-fashioned memories.

Intro: A 12 fl. oz. can with no canned on or best before date. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: Strange colour… a hazy reddish, orange pink colour (like a dark grapefruit juice) with a two finger, very lightly pink colour head that had pretty good retention but left only sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: Berry notes of that hard candy kind, berry smoothie, and touches of grapefruit here and there.
Taste: Lightly sweet, sour, bitter and tangy. Mixed berries, passionfruit, strawberry, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest and pine.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: It’s quite nice, its almost there. The aroma was great, but there was just something in the taste that couldn’t quite pull all the fruit together to make it mesh. While not perfect, it still drinks easy and was refreshing.

Taste: Bitter citrus grapefruit rind and orange peel balanced nicely with lightly sweet tropical mango, peach, apricot and hints of pineapple and pine.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Wow, this was just an excellent juicy double IPA that was so easy and enjoyable to drink.

Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 12th December 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy purple red (near beetroot) colour with a one finger pinkish head that had decent retention, but left only sparse lacing.
Aroma: Creamy, vanilla ice cream, milk candy, lactose, sweet and very lightly tart blueberry.
Taste: Sweet and tart blueberry, lightly sour, vanilla ice cream with a light caramel nuttiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium to light bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: This was interesting with its blueberry and vanilla ice cream flavours. But I think the raspberry version was better and more balanced.
