Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 25th December 2018. Poured into a d’Achouffe tulip glass.
Appearance: A cloudy purplish red colour with a one finger pinkish head that dissipated quite quickly while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Cherry, raspberry, lactose and yoghurt.
Taste: A bit light, but its sweet and sour cherry with a light hint of yoghurt.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I liked the aroma, but its taste was slightly on the watery side, yet surprisingly medium bodied. Having said that, it definitely grew on me the more I drank it. I would get this again.

My ratebeer.com rating: 3.5

Intro: A 330ml bottle (gold cap, bourbon ba) with a best before date of 20th July 2023. Poured into a snifter.
Appearance: It was a black colour with pretty much no head or lacing.
Aroma: Strong bourbon, vanilla and brown sugar with hints of coffee, star anise and marshmallow.
Taste: Liquorice, bourbon, chocolate, coffee, oak and vanilla. There is a slight smokiness on the finish and also a hint of dark fruit.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall: I’m not sure what happened here as I normally enjoy Omnipollo stouts much more. For me, I think there was just too much liquorice and bourbon which overpowered everything else.

Taste: Sweet maple syrup, vanilla, biscuit and caramel with hints of chocolate and fudge plus a light boozy finish.

Overall: A nice sweet Imperial Porter. For me I would rank Yellow Belly > Noa > Lorelei > Anagram. But really all four were good.

Omnipollo x Dugges Anagram Blueberry Cheesecake Stout

Country: Sweden
ABV: 12%
Style: American Imperial Stout

Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 19th September 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku.
Appearance: It was black in colour with a nice one finger brown head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some spotty lacing.
Aroma: Pretty close to a blueberry cheesecake. There is a strong Graham cracker crumb mixture aroma along with toasted coconut flakes, vanilla and blueberries.
Taste: Moves away from blueberry cheesecake territory here. Sweet blueberry and blueberry jam were definitely there, followed by milk chocolate, vanilla and hints of sweet alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall: I think that the blueberry cheesecake experiment was definitely successful with the aroma, but not so much with the taste. However, it was still an enjoyable sweet dessert Imperial Stout.
