Intro: A 500ml can, with a best before date of 24th October 2020. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A deep dark purple colour with a two finger purple head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, lightly tart, mixed berries, maple, melted ice cream, and vanilla.
Taste: Sweet and tart, lightly sour, mixed berries, maple, pancake, and vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Sweet and dessert like, but the tartness was strong enough to balance this out. This was even more tart that the Blueberry Maple Pancake version and hence I preferred this more.

Intro: A 500ml can, with a best before date of 29th August 2020. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A deep beetroot purple colour with a one and a half finger purple head that had good retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, blueberry skin, blueberries, maple, and vanilla.
Taste: Sweet with a light tartness, blueberry, maple, pancake, vanilla and slightly medicinal.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Normally I wouldn’t really be able to enjoy something as sweet as this, but the light tartness of the blueberries just brings this sweetness mostly under control. Combined with the slight berry medicinal character, and maple sweetness, it’s still on the verge of being too much, but I enjoy this beer in sips.

Intro: A 330ml can, with a best before date of 8th August 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A not very appetising murky dark orange brownish green colour with a one finger white head that dissipated immediately to nothing and left only very sparse lacing. Lots of little black sediment floaties too.
Aroma: Vanilla, milky smoothie, and mango, with a touch of mandarin.
Taste: Moderate sweetness, milky, vanilla, soda, fruity, mango, mandarin, although a little watery.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I must admit I felt a little cheated when I found out this was a low alcohol beer with only 0.3% ABV, especially since this was like really expensive soda. The pour and look was absolutely terrible as it just looked really unappetising. The aroma was like a nice smoothie, but then taste went back to something poor again, as other than the vanilla, the fruit flavours were really light/watery, and just didn’t work for me.
