Intro: A 750ml bottle, 2015 vintage, bottled on 28th August 2015. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: Brownish red in colour with a small half finger frothy tanned head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
Aroma: Tart-ish, cherry, prunes, oak and light balsamic vinegar.
Taste: Tart, sour, acidic, cherry, raspberry, oak and balsamic.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: Enjoyable to drink with good aromas but I think I would like it even more if it was less acidic with higher carbonation.
