Intro: A 500ml can, with a best before date of 29th August 2020. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A deep beetroot purple colour with a one and a half finger purple head that had good retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Sweet, blueberry skin, blueberries, maple, and vanilla.
Taste: Sweet with a light tartness, blueberry, maple, pancake, vanilla and slightly medicinal.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Normally I wouldn’t really be able to enjoy something as sweet as this, but the light tartness of the blueberries just brings this sweetness mostly under control. Combined with the slight berry medicinal character, and maple sweetness, it’s still on the verge of being too much, but I enjoy this beer in sips.

Intro: A 500ml can with a best before date of 5th November 2019. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: A hazy light golden straw yellow colour with a puffy two finger white head that had good retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Lemon peel, citrus zest with a touch of mango.
Taste: Lightly tart and sour, light unripe mango, lemon, citrus zest, rind and peel, and only a touch of salt.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Not bad, but I was hoping for more mango, salt and carbonation as a Gose.

Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 1st April 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A deep dark purple-ish red colour with a one finger purple-ish pink colour head that dissipated fairly quickly while leaving some sparse lacing.
Aroma: Tart and sour with a Ribena like aroma of blueberry, blackcurrant and grape with hints of grapefruit.
Taste: Tart and lightly sour. Again like the aroma, the Ribena comes through with blackcurrant, blueberry and grape. There is also hints of salt. Sourness increases towards the end along with acidity.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with high spritzy carbonation.
Overall: Very refreshing and very easy to drink with nice amount of fruit and tartness.
