Intro: A 750ml corked and caged bottle, 2019 vintage, with a best before date of June 2041. Poured into a De Cam stemmed glass.
Appearance: A mostly clear copper orange colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly to a ring around the glass, while leaving some sparse lacing.
Aroma: Rhubarb, earthy, oak, light funk, a touch sour, with some lemon notes.
Taste: Light sour and light funk, oak, earthy, rhubarb, pear, lemon, with some grassy herbal finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Easy drinking and easily the most rhubarb forward lambic and/or beer that I’ve tried. Increased funk and sourness would be interesting.

Stu Mostów x North Brewing ART+45 Triple Fruited Gose Banana Strawberry

Brewery: Browar Stu Mostów x North Brewing Co.
Country: Poland
ABV: 4.5%
Style: Gose – Fruit
Other Notes: 5 IBUs. Malts – Barley, Wheat Malt and Oatmeal. Hops – Chinook. Adjuncts – Banana puree and Strawberry puree

Brewer Description: (from website) Sweet and salty, gently sour and incredibly delicious beer combination! Into our new Gose from ART+ brand we added huge amounts of bananas and strawberries, which resulted in an extremely full, well-balanced taste and intense fruit aroma. Don`t forget to try this one out!

In pursuit of the most crushing, full-bodied and fruity summer combination, in the next beer from the ART+ series we decided to join forces with the North Brewing Co.! Some time ago we had the opportunity to visit their brewery in Leeds and brew together a beer included in one of the most popular series in their offer – TFG (Triple Fruited Gose). The recipe we created contained the best quality malts, oats, lactose and salt to create an incredibly full, thick, smooth and… triple fruit experience! As it was very well received, when brewing at Dlugosza 2 Street (this time online) once again we decided to bet on the Gose style enriched with bananas and aromatic strawberries.

Intro: A 440ml can, with a best before date of 1st December 2021. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A cloudy pink guava orange colour with a two finger white head that had good retention, while leaving some nice lacing.
Aroma: Fruity, strawberry, banana, milkshake.
Taste: Moderate sweetness, some fruit, strawberry, banana, with slight minerality.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A strange one for me. It sounds like something I would like a lot, and I definitely enjoyed the aroma. But the flavour, while it had some strawberry and banana, still seemed to be light on the fruit flavours, while what flavours there were, also ended quite abruptly.

Intro: A 750ml corked and capped bottle, bottled on 19th April 2021, with a best before date of 19th April 2031. Poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass.
Appearance: A very slightly hazy golden colour with a two finger white head that dissipated quickly, while leaving only sparse to no lacing.
Aroma: A bit muted, but it’s lightly tart, lightly funky, with notes of peach and lime zest.
Taste: Sour, tart, peach, apricot, minerals, with a light funky background.
Mouthfeel: Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I really enjoyed Saison Provision, and I also like peaches, so perhaps my hopes were too high. It just didn’t quite come together as good as I hoped it would, as both the aroma and flavours were kind of muted.

Intro: A 440ml can, canned on 7th June 2021, and a best before date of 7th December 2021. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: A hazy darkish orange colour with a two finger white head that had good retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Citrusy orange and grapefruit zest, tropical, mango, papaya, peach, honeydew melon, grass, lightly dank.
Taste: Moderately sweet, papaya, melon, with notes of citrus rind and grapefruit zest for a lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A bit too sweet for me. The bitterness helps, but not enough. There was nice fruit throughout though and the alcohol is well hidden.
