Brewer Description: (from bottle) American Wild Ale fermented & aged in a French oak foeder & then aged on peaches, apricots & nectarines.

Intro: A 375ml bottle, Blend 1, with no bottled on or best before date. Poured into a MBCC 2018 stemmed tasting glass.
Appearance: A hazy yellow orange colour with a half finger white head that disappeared almost immediately to nothing and left no lacing.
Aroma: Peach, apricot, bandaid, funk and oak.
Taste: Sour, tart, peach, apricot, nectarine with a hint of lemon and oak.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.
Overall: Nice and refreshing peach and apricot aroma and flavours. Very easy to drink.

Brewer Description: (from bottle) Imperial Sour Wit Ale brewed with spices and aged in oak barrels with raspberries. Balanced – fruity – bright.

Intro: A 750ml bottle, 2015 vintage, bottled on 20th May 2015. Poured into a Holy Mountain tulip glass.
Appearance: A cloudy dark golden orange colour with a big three finger white head that had decent retention while leaving some nice lacing.
Aroma: Tart and sour, raspberry, wheat, barnyard funk, oak with hints of lime.
Taste: Sour, tart, raspberry, cranberry-apple, wheat, lemon-lime and Belgian yeast with only a hint of oak and funk.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This was ok, but not quite as much raspberry as I hoped for. I was surprised by the higher than expected ABV though, as the alcohol was well hidden.

Brewer Description: (from bottle) Sour Rye Ale aged in oak barrels with passionfruit, orange and guava. Juicy – island – nectar.

Intro: A 750ml bottle, 2017 vintage, bottled on 30th August 2017. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A lightly hazy copper orange colour with a two finger off white head that dissipated fairly quickly to nothing and left no lacing.
Aroma: Lightly tart, guava, passionfruit, lychee, bandaid with hints of oak, vanilla and citrus zest.
Taste: Sour, tart, orange, passionfruit, guava with touches of oak and vinegar.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate to high prickly carbonation.
Overall: A very nice and refreshing Wild Ale with good fruit and woody flavours.

Intro: A 16.9 fl. oz. bottle, 2017 vintage. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A very lightly hazy golden colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left only sparse spotty lacing.
Aroma: Light funk, brett, oak, lemon tartness and a touch of vanilla.
Taste: Sour, oak, vanilla, lemon, funk, brett, lemon juice and lime.
Mouthfeel: Dry, light to medium bodied with moderate to low carbonation.
Overall: A nice amount of oak, funk and brett, balanced with some light citrus.

Intro: A 12.7 fl. oz. bottle, 2016 vintage. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A purplish red colour with a one finger pinkish head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
Aroma: Blackberry, mixed berries, berry skin, oak, vanilla and funk.
Taste: Tart, lightly sour, blackberry, tangy mixed berries, vinegar and oak with some light vanilla.
Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A nice fruity Wild Ale, although I’d prefer it even more if the oak and vanilla flavours were a little lighter.
