Intro: A 440ml can, with a best before date of 3rd July 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy golden orange colour with a nice two finger white head that had excellent retention and left lots of nice lacing.
Aroma: Juicy mix of citrus and tropical fruits, orange peel and rind, mango, and a splash of sweet mandarin.
Taste: Sweet malts, citrusy orange, grapefruit, citrus rind and peel, mango, boozy, with a lasting moderately bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, boozy, full bodied, with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Wonderful fruity aromas. Taste had a nice balance of citrus and tropical fruits but, although knowing it’s a Triple IPA, I still felt that it was a touch too boozy.

Intro: A 330ml can, with a best before date of 24th September 2020. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Dark dark brown in colour with a one finger brown head that dissipated fairly quickly, but left some nice spotty lacing.
Aroma: Light roast, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, with a splash of coffee and hints of peaty smoke.
Taste: Moderate to light chili spiciness, vanilla and light chocolate tones.
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Love the chili in this as it’s prominent but not overpowering. However, the roasty malt and chocolate base was not strong enough to match the chili and even the vanilla flavours were showing up in stronger fashion.
