Style: American Double IPA
Brewer Description: (from bottle) It was a hoppy land that seemed to hold all flavors and aromas and dreams that shun the sun, with barley malt rattling in the lonesome winds, and the dark breweries brooding over all, not even lightened by the added hops which made squat shadows out of men; they called it Conan, beer of hoppyness and deep flavor.

Intro: A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 8th June 2019, ‘B13 kanan’. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A hazy darkish golden orange colour with a one finger white head that had pretty good retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Fruity pineapple, grapefruit, orange pith and rind with hints of grass.
Taste: Orange juice, pineapple, bitter citrus rind and pith with a touch of alcohol on the backend.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and light booziness.
Overall: Quite nice with good fruit and bitterness coming through, although it would be even better if the alcohol was hidden.
