Intro: A 375ml bottle, with no bottled on or best before date. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A very lightly hazy reddish orange colour with a two finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly, while leaving some lacing.
Aroma: Cherry, cherry skin, lemon, citrus zest, oak, and funk.
Taste: Lightly tart, sour and sweet, lemon, cherry, funk, hay, and oak.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.
Overall: Nice and enjoyable, but it wasn’t as cherry forward as I hoped it would be, with the citrus, funk, hay and oak seemingly coming out on top.
