North Park Gimme A 2nd

Brewery: North Park Beer Company
Country: USA
ABV: 8.5%
Style: American Double IPA
Other Notes: Hazy Double IPA

Brewer Description: (from can) Wow, have 2 years gone by already?! Time to party with our first limited can release! We double dry-hopped this one to the point of absurdity with Simcoe, El Dorado, Mosaic, Idaho 7, and Citra, weighing in at seven pounds of hops per barrel. The result is a juicy and aromatic explosion, bursting with tropical fruits, citrus, berries, stone fruit, and dank, piney resins.

My rating: 4
My beeradvocate.com rating: 4.08
My ratebeer.com rating: 4

Intro: A 375ml bottle with a best before date of 15th June 2027. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A clear copper colour with a two finger white head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Light tartness, lychee, white grape, light funk and oak.
Taste: Lightly sour, light lychee, grape, funk and oak.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This was nice. Lychee definitely could be stronger as I’m finding quite a few elderflower beers with stronger lychee flavours, however aside from the fruit, this was one of the more balanced Spontan beers in the lineup.
