Intro: A 750ml bottle at Koelschip, bottled in December 2017. Poured into a stemmed white wine glass.
Appearance: A hazy golden orange colour with a one finger off white head that had decent retention and some nice lacing.
Aroma: Funky, barnyard, wood, elderflower and light leather.
Taste: Funky, wood, elderflower, light sour, citrus, floral.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Overall, nice and balanced, but as per my norm, I’m still not entirely sold on floral beers.
