Intro: A 330ml bottle, bottled in June 2018 #170, and with a best before date of 20th June 2023. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A hazy light orange pink colour with a thin half finger white head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing.
Aroma: Light tart and funk, guava, rhubarb, and passionfruit.
Taste: Tart, light sourness, passionfruit, guava, with hints of red berries and lemon peel, maybe some slight band aid.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Nice easy drinking Berliner Weisse with great fruit flavours. However, I didn’t get any floral character despite the addition of hibiscus flowers.
